At KCBraids & Beads I am committed to protecting the privacy of my customers data.

Personal Information
When browsing my Etsy Shop, Facebook Page, Instagram page or Twitter Page, you may be required to provide personal information (name, address, email, etc.) if you wish to make an order, request or enquiry. I will use this information to process your request, enquiry or to process an order and to send out physical goods. I will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as adopted into law of the United Kingdom in the Data Protection Act 2018. Furthermore, by providing me with telephone or email details, you consent to KC Braids & Beads contacting you using that method. How do I collect information?
KC Braids & Beads only collects information when you directly give it to me (“Directly Provided Data”) When you purchase my products, you may choose to voluntarily give me certain information – for example, by placing an order and providing a postal address. All this information requires a direct action by you at the time that you order. I will never sell or rent your personal information to anyone, at anytime, that you have provided to me, to contact you about my products and orders.

How do I store your information
Digital copies of your data are securely stored on a password protected iPad used by KC Braids & Beads. Paper copies which include my order book, receipt book, Printed Etsy Receipts, Printed PayPal Receipts are used for my accounting and as such are stored in a secure property in a locked room.

How long will I keep your data for?
KC Braids & Beads will not retain your personal information longer than necessary. I will hold onto the information you provide while your order is being processed, or as needed to be able to provide the Services to you, or if it is reasonably necessary to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce terms and conditions, I must also retain some of your information for a period of 5 years as required for tax and accounting purposes.
After the data is no longer needed, digitally it will be deleted and paper copies will be shredded and disposed of.

You can verify and update the details you have given to KC Braids & Beads, along with requesting a copy of the personal data I hold on you at any time by contacting me.

Please note, in order to be compliant with the law I shall be constantly reviewing how I process and protect data. Therefore, any changes to my policy that may occur/need to be made will be publicised.
